Hydrangea is a romance and psychological horror visual novel inspired by the Hanahaki disease trope. You play as someone whose sweetheart, customizable to your preferences, falls ill with a mysterious condition just as you reconsider ending the relationship. Drawn closer by their plight, you find yourself navigating a love that deepens into obsession, where affection takes a dark turn and the petals of devotion threaten to suffocate.

- Open reviewI appreciated how it handles a sensitive topic and the way it chooses to approach it. It’s not easy to convey emotions effectively in such a short experience, but it does so in a clear and concise way. The dialogue and voice acting were both quite strong, and the customization added a nice touch. It’s a small-scale experience, but a well-executed one.
