Peak is a cooperative climbing game for up to four players. After crash-landing on an unknown island, players take the role of scouts attempting to ascend the mountain at its center. The mountain is semi-procedurally generated and changes every 24 hours, featuring five distinct biomes with unique obstacles and enemies. Players manage stamina, collect climbing tools like ropes and pitons, and must work together to survive hazards while ascending.

- Open reviewIt had been a long time since I truly felt the joy of accomplishing something together in a co-op game. Sure, great titles keep coming out, but personally, I hadn’t experienced the same feeling I got from Peak in a while. That might be why I enjoyed it extra, but the game genuinely delivers a very clean challenge. Unlike story-driven co-op games, you’re not simply experiencing a narrative together. Unlike puzzle co-op titles, there aren’t moments where you drift off to think alone. And unlike hardcore platformer co-op games, you don’t have to stay fully concentrated at the cost of losing dialogue with your friends. In that sense, Peak really lives up to its name. While playing, you can joke around endlessly with your friends, yet every small step forward still feels like an achievement. On top of that, the game manages to keep you connected to the team with small interactions, ensuring you never drift apart from the group.
