"They looked like monsters to you?"
The first four games hold a truly special place for me; each one embodies the peak of the unique qualities in the genre they created—Rusty Horror.
Just like the other three games, Heather is a fantastic Silent Hill protagonist, and what sets her apart is her struggle against the claustrophobic atmosphere. Unlike the others, she actively battles this oppressive feeling, adding a powerful layer to the experience.
In terms of gameplay and level design, unfortunately, it falls behind the others. It’s not a bad level, but especially when played in sequence, the first half feels much simpler, and the second half lacks a bit of the creativity seen in the first two games.
In the end, it has that magic; no matter what, it draws you in.
