It’s pretty obvious that my initial excitement for the game came from how much it looked like a “what if Kiki’s Delivery Service came to life as a cozy game.” And to a certain extent, I’d say it delivers on that vibe. Atmospherically, aesthetically, and presentation-wise, it succeeds in doing what it sets out to do. The cute little animations are the icing on the cake. My biggest issue was with the flying mechanics—I would’ve much preferred a fully freeform experience. The air currents in this otherwise charming world feel random and out of place, almost like they don’t belong.
