One of the most unique versions of Tetris, and definitely a fun one. The variety of modes within the game is also quite satisfying. However, the single-player mode feels lackluster, and the inability to play the classic mode solo or even in local/online multiplayer leaves a noticeable gap. If the game didn’t include a single-player mode at all, I wouldn’t see it as a direct flaw—but as it stands, this version doesn’t come to mind first when I want to play Tetris. With more care and content added post-launch, it could have reached a much stronger position.
