This time, I can at least call it a bad Sonic game. Even though it surpasses the first game, it still ends up feeling short — though this is closer to what I actually remembered. Most likely, this is the one that stuck in my mind. Still, it serves as a sad reminder of just how rough that era was for Sonic.
