First of all, I should say that I really do like Jujutsu Kaisen. But when it comes to this game, honestly, even trying it out feels like you’d either have to be a JJK fan or a big gacha enthusiast — and I can’t even say the latter, because as a gacha game on its own it unfortunately just isn’t enough.
So what does it actually mean for someone who loves Jujutsu Kaisen? Honestly, if you enjoy both gacha and JJK, there are definitely things here you can get into. It tells its own story, and I don’t think it makes bad use of the universe. The animations and character designs are quite good, and while the gameplay itself doesn’t offer much, it’s passable. The real issue is that the core appeal of gacha games — collecting and developing characters — feels weak. The main reason seems to be the limited character pool.
