While I don’t think the main game did the character justice, playing them in their own DLC—albeit a low-budget one—was actually quite fun.
Of course, it doesn’t offer the same level of gameplay variety as the main game, but I think what it delivers is solid for its runtime.
Unlike the original series, this version of the character takes itself a bit too seriously. But with stronger writing, I honestly would’ve liked to see the DmC Devil May Cry branch continue.
