Persona 3 Reload is one of those remakes done right. It faithfully brings everything that made the original special into the modern presentation style of the series.
Could it have gone even further with modernization? Absolutely—and I probably wouldn’t have minded if it had taken a few more liberties. But in the context of the series and the tone of this particular game, this feels like the best possible approach.
Persona 3 was my first Persona game, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. Next up is P4, and here’s hoping P2 eventually gets the same love.
