The kind of comedy you always get some enjoyment from in adventure games is blended really well with a Lovecraftian story here.
Its cartoon-like visuals and well-written dialogues make it even easier to get immersed in the game.
Many have probably said this already, but it’s also a nice homage both to the golden age of adventure games and to Lovecraftian themes.
Turning the famous sword duel from Monkey Island into a rap battle is one of the sweetest examples of that.
I can’t really speak for people who don’t usually play this genre, but for those who regularly enjoy adventure games, I’d say it’s definitely a good one.
