I played this one slowly, using it almost like a comfort zone.
Maybe part of the reason I loved it so much is tied to how I emotionally reconnected with the Dragon Ball series after Toriyama's passing.
Let’s be honest — the game isn’t perfect by any means, not even in its core strength, the combat. Not that it’s bad — it’s not — but still.
What really matters is that Dragon Ball magic is absolutely there.
No matter which character I was playing or what part of the story I was in, I felt like I was there. I was part of the adventure.
And beyond the action, being able to just chill — to experience the quiet moments — was beautiful.
Just like in Spider-Man games, where swinging through the city without doing anything can be pure joy, here, flying around with music in the background was more than enough to clear my mind.
