A small, short, but truly well-polished adventure game.
It had been on my radar for a while, but with the second game coming out, I figured it was finally time to check it off my list.
In the end, despite having a distinct voice of its own, the fact that I could pick up on familiar notes from other games I love made it easier to get immersed so quickly.
The visual style, the voice acting, and the fact that it featured a variation of the investigative mechanics I really enjoyed in The Case of the Golden Idol — those were some of the game’s biggest highlights for me.
