It’s definitely not far from the Double Fine experience, but it’s important to go in knowing that this isn’t a full-fledged adventure-adventure game — otherwise, it might feel a bit underwhelming or directionless if that’s your expectation.
Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect either — I started it mainly because the visuals caught my eye and, of course, because it’s a Double Fine game. Visually, it’s a real showcase; it actually feels closer to a Journey-like experience than a traditional adventure title. There’s something unique about it — I often found myself simply wandering around, feeling peaceful, stopping to take in the scenes. The sense of travel and discovery is truly well done.
In the end, the positives I mentioned were enough to make it a pleasant experience for me, but if it had included a few more engaging puzzles, it could’ve been an unforgettable one.
