The essence of Prince of Persia is definitely intact. Even back in the day — including the Java versions — the focus was in the right place, so I had as much fun as I remembered. That said, I can’t help but think it could’ve been better; with slightly more refined level design and tighter controls, it could have turned into a truly great game.
