The discourse around this game honestly feels unnecessary. It’s a small, charming experience. Sure, it doesn’t offer much in terms of gameplay, but it’s not failing at some grand ambition it’s simply not trying to be that kind of game in the first place.
Just like when you go into a visual novel knowing what kind of experience it offers, I think the same mindset applies here. Naturally, the story and characters take center stage, and in both areas, the game does what it needs to do very well.
