Let’s get this out of the way: it hasn’t aged as well as I had hoped—but it’s definitely not unplayable or unenjoyable.
The heavy metal aesthetic is still strong, and if you have any nostalgia for the game or a love for that style, there’s still a lot to enjoy here. Its menus and music are especially memorable. Beyond that, the action feels fairly standard for its time, but clean and serviceable.
It’s also not too long, so even with limited mechanical variety, it doesn’t end up feeling lacking.
