Packed with references and a noir parody vibe, which is more than enough to make it fun to play.
The aesthetic, mixing 3D environments with 2D characters, doesn’t feel fully polished, which creates a slightly odd feeling I can’t quite put my finger on, but it’s not a dealbreaker. As a boomer shooter, the mechanics are fairly average, so they don’t really hurt the experience either.
Overall, it’s worth playing for its presentation and references alone.
