In recent years, at least one game with this kind of aesthetic manages to win me over—and this was no exception. I can confidently say I got into it purely for the visuals at first.
The core mechanics are solid, but what surprised me was how cozy and relaxing the experience turned out to be. Without even realizing it, I found myself growing attached to the creatures and preparing their meals with genuine care. It’s definitely a game I’ll bring up when talking about this kind of atmosphere.
