If you're a fan of choose-your-own-adventure games, I think this is one you absolutely owe yourself to try. The worldbuilding is excellent, and I especially appreciated how the world continues to evolve alongside the passage of time, making it feel like you're living through history rather than standing still.
Honestly, as long as you can make peace with the choices you make, it's the kind of game where you can walk away satisfied regardless of which ending you reach.
The one thing that might not work for everyone is how uncompromising its choice system is. To make your decisions feel meaningful, the game commits to their consequences in a pretty strict way. If you're looking for a "choose your own adventure" experience where you can always get exactly the outcome you want, this may not be quite as satisfying.
