A solid, straightforward survival horror game. As you'd expect, its visual style does a lot of the heavy lifting, but it results in an excellent atmosphere. From the very first minutes, I felt completely absorbed in the tension.
The mechanics aren't exceptionally polished, but honestly, I didn't mind much. I was already in the mood for this kind of game, so I ended up enjoying pretty much everything it threw at me.
I had also played Trench Face not long before this, so I was definitely in the right mindset for both the setting and its themes. Consider this a recommendation for anyone who enjoyed Conscript and hasn't come across Trench Face yet, as long as you don't go in expecting the same game.
