My feelings on this one are a bit mixed. I definitely enjoyed it to a certain extent, but I can't shake the feeling that a lot of that enjoyment came from the games it wears its inspirations on its sleeve, along with the atmosphere and overall vibe it captures.
There are things it does well and others it doesn't quite pull off. Even though it tells an intriguing story that's worth following, the overall package ended up feeling a little forgettable to me.
In the end, if you enjoy its atmosphere, the genre, and the games it's clearly inspired by, you'll probably have a good time. It just never quite became something truly special in its own right.
