I found it thematically and atmospherically satisfying, but because I was so focused on completing my objectives, I can't say the horror fully landed for me.
That said, I still think it's a strong experience both visually and in terms of presentation. Like most Chilla's Art games, it's an easy, bite-sized experience that flows well, and as long as they keep this formula feeling fresh, I'll happily keep playing them.
