Assassin’s Creed II takes everything that made the first game memorable and improves it in almost every way. The story is much more memorable, and Ezio is one of the most iconic protagonists in the entire Assassin’s Creed series, if not the most iconic.
What impressed me the most, especially considering the year it was released, is the map and world design. The locations are beautiful, varied, and incredibly well crafted for their time. It’s a game that still stands out today, both for its story and for the world it created.
