One of the best Assassin’s Creed games in the series. Black Flag takes the usual formula and combines it with a fantastic pirate setting, creating something that feels genuinely different from the previous entries.
Edward Kenway is an incredibly memorable protagonist, and the naval gameplay is definitely one of the highlights of the game. Sailing around the Caribbean, exploring islands, and engaging in naval battles is extremely fun and adds a whole new dimension to the gameplay. The combat is also satisfying and works very well with the classic Assassin’s Creed mechanics.
Overall, I enjoyed it more than Assassin’s Creed III. It’s a great adventure with a memorable protagonist, a beautiful setting, and one of the most enjoyable gameplay systems in the series.
