I only played the 2018 Remastered version, but unfortunately, Assassin’s Creed Rogue was a pretty forgettable experience for me. It feels like one of the more underwhelming and flat entries in the series, without really bringing enough new ideas to make it stand out.
The concept of playing as a Templar is interesting, but I don’t think the game makes the most of it. Overall, it’s not necessarily a bad game, but it feels completely skippable compared to the stronger entries in the series.
