Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is a solid entry in the series. The Victorian-era setting is really well done and gives the game a unique atmosphere. The story is decent, although it didn’t really manage to grab me as much as I would have liked.
What stands out the most is the gameplay, which takes a significant step away from the traditional Assassin’s Creed formula. It doesn’t completely reinvent the series yet, but it introduces a new direction that would eventually lead to the much bigger gameplay changes seen in Origins.
Overall, a good and enjoyable Assassin’s Creed game, even if the story didn’t leave a particularly strong impression on me.
