In my opinion, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the last truly great entry from Ubisoft. I really enjoyed the gameplay, especially the skill system and the different ability branches, which are well designed and give you a lot of freedom in how you build your character. The overall combat and progression systems are also very satisfying, and the Viking setting fits the game extremely well. My main criticism would be the map, which feels too large and spread out at times, making certain areas feel somewhat boring and repetitive. Despite that, Valhalla is still a very solid and enjoyable game, and one of the stronger entries in the modern Assassin’s Creed formula.
