Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a decent return to the roots of the series, but unfortunately, it didn’t leave a particularly strong impression on me. I appreciated the focus on stealth and investigation, and Baghdad is a beautiful and well-designed setting that fits the classic Assassin’s Creed style very well.
However, I found the story and characters somewhat forgettable, and the gameplay can become repetitive after a while. The combat is also nothing particularly special, while the parkour sometimes feels a little stiff and lacking in fluidity.
Overall, it’s not a bad game, and I appreciate Ubisoft trying to return to the classic formula, but I found it to be a fairly average and somewhat forgettable entry in the series.
