Papers, Please is a simple game with a surprisingly original concept. The gameplay is straightforward, but it manages to stay engaging and satisfying thanks to the decisions you have to make and the consequences that follow them.
I also really liked the fact that the game has multiple endings, which gives you a reason to replay it and see how different choices can change the outcome. It’s not the most complex game out there, but it doesn’t need to be. Its simplicity is part of what makes it work so well.
Overall, a very original and enjoyable experience that surprised me more than I expected, even for mobile.
