Life is Strange is a really enjoyable choice-based adventure and, for me, one of the most interesting games of its kind. The main mechanic of rewinding time and seeing how your choices can affect situations gives the game a really strong Butterfly Effect feeling, making even seemingly insignificant decisions feel important.
What I liked the most is how well the characters are integrated into the world. Almost everyone has their own personality, relationships and problems, and some characters become surprisingly deep as the story progresses. The relationship between Max and the people around her is a big part of what makes the story so engaging.
The atmosphere is also fantastic, with a very distinctive style that fits the melancholic and mysterious tone of the story perfectly. It’s not a perfect game and some parts are definitely weaker than others, but the combination of its characters, atmosphere and choice system makes it a very memorable experience.
