The Walking Dead: The Final Season is an incredible conclusion to Clementine’s story and, for me, one of the best seasons of the entire series. Seeing how much Clementine has grown throughout the games is one of the strongest parts of the experience, and her relationship with AJ adds a completely new dimension to her character.
The school setting also works extremely well. Watching Clementine build relationships with the other survivors while slowly becoming a leader and a mentor makes the whole season feel like a natural continuation of her journey.
Without going into spoilers, I really loved how the game handles Clementine’s personal growth and brings her story to a satisfying conclusion. It may not quite reach the level of the first season for me, but it comes very close. An absolutely fantastic final chapter and a must-play for anyone who followed Clementine’s journey from the beginning.
