Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a decent game with some enjoyable gameplay mechanics, especially when it comes to its tactical approach. There are some interesting ideas, but unfortunately they don’t always feel fully developed.
The biggest problem for me is the repetition. After a while, many missions start to feel very similar, and the huge open world can feel surprisingly flat and empty. Even the shooting and weapon mechanics, which are such a central part of the game, felt quite bland to me. The mechanics are relatively dated and far from realistic, which makes the combat lose some of its appeal after a while.
Overall, it’s not a bad game and I did have fun with some of its mechanics, but it never managed to keep me really engaged for long. A decent experience, but nothing particularly memorable.
