League of Legends is one of the games that really helped define competitive PvP as we know it today. It has a very deep gameplay system and an enormous amount of content, but that also makes it extremely difficult to master, especially when it comes to ranked.
I had a lot of fun playing it, but over time I gradually played less because the ranked experience can become incredibly frustrating. Climbing can be a real challenge, and the competitive nature of the game can make every loss feel particularly annoying.
It’s definitely not a game for everyone. I can understand why some people dislike it or find it frustrating, especially because of how demanding and competitive it can be. But if you enjoy this type of PvP and are willing to put the time into learning it, there’s a huge amount of depth to discover. Overall, a very influential and genuinely fun competitive game, even if it can be extremely frustrating at times.
