CARRION is a really interesting and original concept, especially because you play as the creature instead of the humans trying to survive. Moving through the facilities, hunting people and growing stronger is definitely the most enjoyable part of the game.
Unfortunately, the gameplay became increasingly repetitive for me. After several hours, I felt like I was constantly doing variations of the same things, especially when it came to navigating the facilities and opening the reinforced doors by moving through small passages in the walls. The new abilities help keep things somewhat fresh, but eventually they weren’t enough to stop the repetition.
I played around ten hours before eventually dropping it, despite being fairly close to the end. I still think it’s a good game with a very cool concept, but the repetition ultimately made it difficult for me to keep going. Definitely not a bad game, just an experience that started to lose its appeal over time.
