Update is live! Here is what's new:
Copy & Paste Images directly
You don't need to save screenshots to your desktop anymore. Just take a screenshot (Win+Shift+S / Cmd+Shift+4) or copy any image and press Ctrl+V directly in the post box, comments, or DMs.
Better image framing (No more huge black bars)
Fixed the wide black bars on screenshots and carousels. Images now properly fit their original ratio (16:9 widescreen, square, and vertical covers) without cropping anything.
Smarter "Discover Gamers" & Taste Matching
We reworked the recommendation algorithm:
- Merely owning or importing the same Steam games now shows up as a "Library match" (~65%). It won't give fake 90%+ scores just because you both have popular games in your backlog.
- High match scores (80%+) are now strictly reserved for people who actually rated games and gave similar scores.
- Rating clashes now matter: if one person gave 10/10 and the other gave 4/10 to the same game, the match score drops.
- New active profiles now get their matches calculated immediately without waiting for daily updates.
Fixes
- Fixed Deck showing games that were already in your backlog/wishlist.
- Fixed Steam and web links in community posts showing up as broken images instead of link previews.
- Fixed a crash on the Deck welcome screen for some users.
- Fixed various bugs.
