Absolutely incredible. In my opinion, this is the best game developed by Quantic Dream. I’ve played all three of their major titles, and this one stands out as my favorite by far. The story, characters, choices, and overall atmosphere are all incredibly well done. I’ve replayed it multiple times, and it still manages to be just as engaging and memorable every time. A truly fantastic game and one of the best choice-based games I’ve ever played.

Detroit Become Human, çıktığı dönem PS4 jenerasyonunun parmakla gösterilen oyunlarından biriydi. Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain ve Beyond Two Souls ardından Quantic Dream'in en büyük oyunu olan oyun, seneler sonra PC'ye gelmesiyle beraber nihayet ben de deneyimleyebildim. Yapay zeka, insansı robotlar, teknolojik gelişmişlikte ilerlemiş şehirler ve elbette ki bu konulardaki felsefi düşünceler hep ilgimi çeken konulardı. Ne mutluyum ki bu konuların, özellikle felsefi boyuttaki düşüncelerin oyunda layıkıyla işlenmiş olmasından dolayı mutluyum. Gerek sinematikler, gerek tempo ve mekaniklerle oyunun bize androidlerin kontrolünü veriş biçimi senaryonun her bir noktasına işlenmiş. Seçime dayalı ve kelebek etkisinin en ön planda olduğu bu tür oyunlarda seçimlerimizin hikayeyi nasıl etkilediği ve ne kadar çeşitli biçimde elimizin altına sunulduğu kritik noktadır. Oyunu oynarken yer yer seçenekler bana az geldi ancak verdiğiniz kararların kümülatif olarak hikayeye etkisi azımsanmayacak şekilde çok. Yine, özellikle bazı hikaye anlarında daha derin ve çatışma sahibi seçenekler konmasını isterdim. İnsanı robotların, insanların hayatlarına girişini kapitalist ve devrimci bakış açılarıyla ele alan oyun, ahlaki ve felsefi soru işaretleriyle oyuncuyu baş başa bırakmayı başarmış. Şahsen bu benim oyundan en büyük beklentimdi ve beklentimi karşılamış bir oyun olarak Detroit Become Human'ı arkamda bıraktım.

Honestly, I didn’t go into this with particularly high expectations. Multiple endings have never been a huge selling point for me, and I didn’t expect the story to offer me anything especially new. Turns out I was wrong, I ended up loving it. To be fair, I can’t say my preconceptions were completely unfounded. In many ways, those aspects were exactly what I expected them to be. The difference was that I became genuinely attached to the characters and the story, and that carried the experience from beginning to end. Better late than never we finally made peace.
