Divine Ascendancy

Summary

Divine Ascendancy is a god game and civilization builder. Playing as one of five gods of Olympus, the player guides a mortal settlement through the Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze and Early Iron ages. Peasants are converted into followers and assigned to six work roles, and the settlement grows through 21 building types that change appearance as faith deepens, with roads forming along the paths villagers actually walk. Faith powers 34 miracles across creation, protection and destruction, and a perk and research tree lets players specialize their god. The settlement must defend itself against escalating enemies on the Road of Doubt and survive calamities such as plague, wildfire and earthquake. The campaign culminates in a fight with the dragon Heresiarch and an Ascension Ritual.
