    The first of Mass Effect 2's expansion packs, Overlord sees Shepard and their crew visit a remote Cerberus lab to investigate a distress signal. When they get there they find the place overrun with Geth soldiers controlled by a rogue VI, and must fight to disable it before the VI can get off-world. Some early parts of this are wonderfully eerie as the VI screams at you from every screen it can in unintelligible strings, but eventually it gives way to mostly fairly standard firefights. The ending is effective, though, touching on one of my favourite dystopian sci-fi themes, and fits in some great character writing right at the end. Check out my full review!
