- Open reviewWhen you take an existing formula, polish it, and wrap it in easy-to-grasp, addictive mechanics, expectations tend to be low and that makes it easier for the experience to land positively. Naturally, after the Vampire Survivors this game tries to push things a bit further and experiment in its own way. I honestly expected it to feel much clunkier, so I was pleasantly surprised by how well it adapts the formula. Inevitably, it invites comparisons, and I wouldn’t say it’s quite as addictive as Survivors but I still had a great time with it.
