Vampire Hunter D is a PlayStation video game based on the series of books and movies of the same name. Along with Countdown Vampires, it is one of the few survival horror games to revolve around vampires.

- Open reviewSometimes, especially with older games, simply seeing a series you love receive a decent adaptation is enough to enjoy it. I'd love for Vampire Hunter D to have an outstanding survival horror game, but unfortunately, that's not what this is. Instead, it's a fairly average game that does a respectable job of representing the series. The result is a game with a few too many prerequisites before I'd recommend it. You need to enjoy survival horror, be open to older entries in the genre, and, of course, already be a fan of Vampire Hunter D, the kind of fan who's happy just to finally have a game set in that world.
