A really good game that took me 21 hours to finish two endings. The story wasn't anything spectacular, but it flowed well, and I had a great time overall. It wasn't overly difficult, though it frustrated me here and there. The music was my biggest gripe; it got a bit tiring after a while. I'm too drained to go for the true ending, but I'm glad I played it!
Esoteric Ebb was so much fun! I didn't read a single book all week because apparently I can only handle so much reading at a time, and I'm a slow reader to begin with. The Cleric's inner voices being D&D stats was entertaining af. I loved spending time with them! Took me 30 hours to finish, but absolutely worth it.
The story is pretty short, but I enjoyed it. It was engaging enough to keep me curious about what was going on, and I had a good time seeing it through to the end. The puzzles weren't particularly difficult either, which is honestly a plus for me because I don't enjoy banging my head against impossible puzzles. They were simple but still fun to figure out. I wouldn't have minded the story being a little longer, but I think this was probably a good length overall. If it had gone on much longer, it might have started feeling repetitive. I liked it! A fun little Rusty Lake game with a good story and enjoyable puzzles.
I had a wonderful time with this! It wasn’t quite what I expected going in, but I ended up having a lot of fun with it. The voice acting is sublime, absolutely phenomenal and easily one of my favorite parts of the game. I went for 100%, and since I’m not exactly great with puzzles, it took me around 15 hours to finish. The narrative puzzle gameplay is a lot of fun, although it does get a little repetitive toward the end. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with fantastic voice acting and a fun mystery to unravel.
The Blood of Dawnwalker isn't a perfect game, but I had an absolute blast playing it. The freedom to choose what to prioritize, the characters, the quests, and especially the way the time limit shapes your decisions all worked for me. I finished my first playthrough in 47 hours and already know I'll be going back for another run. Messy in places, maybe, but incredibly fun. My GOTY.
Finished Ledgerbound in around 30 hours. What a fun game! There's a lot of reading and listening, but the writing kept me engaged throughout. The combat is enjoyable, and being able to replay battles are a fantastic feature. The characters are all distinct and memorable, the writing is witty, fun, and often very horny. The voice acting is absolutely top-tier. And... Cazian. 😌
