Summary

The Shadow of the Erdtree is a fully-fledged expansion that features an all-new story set in the Land of Shadow. It adds a whole new map with 70 new weapons, ten new shields, 39 new Talismans, 14 new sorceries, 28 new incantations, 20 new Spirit Ashes, 25 New Ashes of War, 30 new armour sets, and new consumables and craftables.

    Shadow of the Erdtree is an incredible expansion and, while it doesn’t quite reach the level of the base game for me, it comes surprisingly close. The boss fights are some of the most challenging and memorable FromSoftware has created, and the variety of encounters keeps the experience exciting throughout. The map is probably my favorite aspect of the DLC. The different biomes and areas are incredibly well designed, with each region having its own atmosphere and identity. From the areas surrounding the Frenzied Flame to the mountains around Bayle and the regions affected by Scarlet Rot, the world feels dense, mysterious, and rewarding to explore. It’s a fantastic expansion that adds a huge amount of quality content to an already incredible game. Definitely one of the best DLCs FromSoftware has ever made.

    Sakın ama sakın, Scadutree parçalarını toplamadan, veya Elden Ring oyununda 180 Level'e ulaşmadan girmeye çalışmayın. Girerseniz de yerinizden kımıldamayın. Kımıldarsanız da gördüğünüz her yere girmeyin. Bakın doğduğumuz yerin hemen ilerisinde bir mezar yeri var. İçinde de Blackgaol Knight adında bir bossumsu var. Ben tabi "Souls uzmanı"yım ya. G.tüm bir karış havada. 120 level karakterle Scadutree toplamadan girdim. Daha oyun başlayalı yarım saat olmamıştır. İLK BOSS LAN!! 2 saat sürer mi ya? Tek atıyor nerdeyse.. Sonradan tabi mevzuyu anladım, Scadu toplayınca neredeyse Consort Radahn'a tek atıyordum ama, biraz fazla zor ve gereksiz bir DLC olmuş. Yine de epik bosslar kazandırdı bize. Özellike Consort Radahn'dan ziyade, Mesmer, kesinlikle oyunun yıldızı. Sadece Mesmer Fight için bu oyun alınır.

    Ana oyundan daha az tekrara düşüyor, dungeonları daha çeşitli, silahları daha keyifli ve dünyası daha renkli. Diğer konularda ise ana oyundan geride veya aynı seviyede. Hele dengelemesi çok kötü, ana oyunda güçlüyken bir anda oyun dibe sokuyor ve güçlenmek için tekrar grind yapmaya zorluyor. Ana oyunda gelişmek için olan grind ögeleri daha bolken DLCde kıtı kıtına yetiyor. Bu konuda da oyun tasarım olarak kendiyle çelişmiş. Bosslar ortalama olarak ana oyunla aynı düzeyde ana oyundan daha iyi bosslar da var çok daha kötüler de.
