Saying goodbye to Mimimi Games is genuinely heartbreaking. Since the pirate setting appealed to me more than their previous games, I decided to start with this before diving into Shadow Tactics or Desperados. I think they absolutely did justice to the tactical genre, while also making excellent use of a pirate theme that, despite having plenty of fans, still feels surprisingly underutilized in games.
