I’m not going to pretend I have some deep intellectual reading of it. But it’s a powerful experience, and a short game that reminded me why I love games in the first place and how impactful they can be. In a time where people constantly argue about what “counts” as a game and what doesn’t, this reminded me once again that any experience defining itself as a game can absolutely be one. There’s no need for rigid definitions here. There’s a clear vision behind it, and it'll stay with me just as much as any other game I love.
