Fun fast paced and goofy gunplay with a surprsingly heartfelt and well presented story/campaign.
8/10Bulletstorm - copperingots’s review of No Man's Sky
No Man’s Sky is one of those games with a concept that is simply incredible. The idea of an essentially infinite, procedurally generated universe that you can freely explore is still something that amazes me. The launch was obviously surrounded by a lot of controversy, with many promised features missing or not living up to expectations. However, I really appreciate what Hello Games has done since then. Years of free updates have completely transformed the game, adding an enormous amount of content and gradually turning it into the experience it was originally supposed to be. The exploration is easily one of the strongest aspects. There are countless planets, creatures, environments and places to discover, and the feeling that you can simply travel wherever you want makes the universe feel genuinely huge. It’s not perfect, and some mechanics can still become repetitive, but the ambition and the amount of content are incredible. No Man’s Sky has come an incredibly long way since launch, and today I think it’s a fantastic game that deserves to be experienced.
8/10No Man's Sky - K.’s review of No Man's Sky
10/10No Man's Sky - ugrdrms’s review of Bulletstorm
Not quite as good as I remembered, but still a blast. The action carries it. The leash, kick, and slide mechanics constantly push you toward creative kills, and that experimentation is where most of the fun comes from. The story, presentation, and attitude feel much more like products of their time these days, and the cliffhanger ending doesn’t do the game any favors either. Still, I can’t help but feel that it deserved a bit more recognition than it got.
7/10Bulletstorm - ugrdrms’s review of The Midnight Walk
The visuals are incredible—claymotion has always been an eye-candy art style, but here, they’ve managed to create a language of their own. And it’s not just the visuals—the music and the storytelling share that same unique voice. So what is that voice, exactly? Even though it might not look like it at first glance, this is genuinely a game where you can find a sense of peace.
