Firetale sets four cookies that the site needs to work, and two analytics cookies only if you say yes.

Analytics only with your OK
Firetale runs no advertising. There is no advertising pixel, no cross-site profiling, and we never sell data.
We use Google Analyticsto see which pages people visit and where the site is slow or confusing, but only if you choose “Allow all”. Until then, and if you choose “Essential only”, the Google script is not loaded at all and no analytics cookie is set. IP addresses are anonymised.
You can change your mind at any time:

Other local storage
Alongside cookies, the site stores a small amount of data in your browser: your place in the Discovery Deck if you navigate away mid-session, and your scroll position in the feed. This never leaves your device and is cleared when you clear your browser data.
Turning them off
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will sign you out and prevent you signing back in, since there is no other way for us to know who you are between requests.
