Summary

Elden Ring is an action RPG developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, released in February 2022. Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, with world-building contributions from novelist George R. R. Martin, the game features an expansive open world called the Lands Between. Players assume the role of a customisable character known as the Tarnished, who must explore this world, battle formidable enemies, and seek to restore the Elden Ring to become the Elden Lord. The game builds on the challenging gameplay mechanics familiar from the Dark Souls series but introduces a more open-ended structure with vast exploration, dynamic weather, and a day-night cycle. It offers deep lore, complex characters, and an interconnected world filled with secrets, dungeons, and powerful bosses.

    Miyazaki always manages to create absolutely incredible masterpieces. I’ve played almost everything FromSoftware has made, if not actually everything, and in my opinion, Elden Ring represents the near perfection this studio has achieved over the years. I know it is not a perfect game. In fact, I don’t think true perfection in a game really exists, at least not yet. However, Elden Ring comes incredibly close to it. I agree with some of the criticism it has received, such as its somewhat dated gameplay and the fact that FromSoftware still hasn’t fully adapted to modern tools and technologies like Unreal Engine, which are becoming increasingly common in modern triple-A games. At the same time, though, I understand the choices FromSoftware makes, and I don’t necessarily see these aspects as major flaws. Overall, Elden Ring is an incredible experience and, to me, one of the best examples of what FromSoftware has been able to achieve. There really isn’t much else I can say. It simply feels like the culmination of everything this studio has built over the years.

    Soulslike yanını geçtim en iyi açık dünya oyunlardan birisi. Zor bosslarda kanser etmek yerine alternatif yollar sunması harika. Bazı devasa boss fightları ve açık dünya bosslarının tekrara düşmesi keyifsiz. Başka eksikleri de yok değil, mükemmel de değil ama harika.

    Miyazaki yine bir şeylerin peşinde diyorlar. "Öyle bir oyun geliyor ki ortalığı kasıp kavuracak, yıkacak geçecek" diyorlar. Trailerlar yayınlanıyor bir bok anlamıyoruz. Klasik ketum Miyazaki fragman geceleri. Sonunda oyun çıkış yapıyor. İlk 2-3 gün oynayan kimse bir şey anlamıyor. Fakat oyunu oynadıkça, bulundukları odada aniden ışık kesilince yavaşça büyüyen siyah göz bebekleri gibi, insanların beyni de yavaşça açılıyor ve gümmm.. Kafatasımızı pas geçip direkt beynimize hücum eden, devasa bir Miyazaki yumruğu. Oyun tarihinin tartışmasız, bu kadar anlaşılmayıp, bu kadar "Anladım" numarası yapılan tek oyunu. Halen insanların tek bildiği aslında Radagohn Marika'nın erkek haliymiş.. Oyunla ilgili tek bildiğimiz bu. 10 yıldız olsa 10 yıldız veririm, 24 yıldız olsa 24 yıldız. Soulslike seven herkesin kaçışı olmadan oynaması gereken devasa bir baş yapıt.

    Vast and minutely detailed world. I have traveled so many places in this game and still there are some things that i did not see(people who likes exploring, playing with no research is highly recommended). There are stories everywhere. Soundtracks are euphoric. Weapon types are a whole bunch, there is always a way to fight the way you want. Whenever I played this game I always felt like I was witnessing history, which essentially we are, and Its so cool to witness the events unfolding before your eyes while you make your choices.
