Log your first game
Find a game in search, open its page and choose Log this game. Pick a status. You can add a rating, platform, play date or review; a written review is optional.
Played, Beat and your backlog
Beat means you finished the game. Played records time with a game without saying you finished it. They are separate statuses; statistics labelled Done combine both.
Use Wishlist for games you want, Backlog for games waiting to be played, Playing for a current game, Paused for a break and Quit when you have stopped. Changing status does not require a rating.
Keep a new playthrough separate
Open the game's log menu and choose Add a replay for another playthrough. A replay keeps its own dates, platform and rating. Editing your original log changes that log; it does not create a replay.
Play dates and library order
Set a custom log date to record when you played, rather than when you entered the record. Use only the year or month if that is all you remember.
Custom Order is your manual library order. Year Played groups games by their play year and keeps your custom order within each year. Adding a rating is not a new play date.
Hide spoilers in a review
Mark the whole review as a spoiler, or hide a passage with ||double pipes|| or >!spoiler!<. Readers choose when to reveal it. Bold, italic and underline formatting can be used alongside spoilers.
Import a collection
Check the import guide for supported sources and file formats. Review proposed matches before confirming. An uncertain title may need manual review; a similarly named edition is not always the same release.
Export data or delete an account
Settings provides library CSV and account JSON exports, plus account deletion. Deletion has exceptions for other participants' conversations and certain safety or legal records. Read the policy before deciding.
